Metabo Oyaji 71
Sounds like a mash-up of Pink Floyd's Meddle at the beginning, with the Echoes ping and then the bass from One of These Days.

Curt 1
Hahaha I remember that one. Didn't they do about 5 singles that all sounded exactly the same.
thursday 1
was it 5? I thought it was the same song that they renamed and re-released every few months. And people were dumb enough to buy it into number 1.
veronica 2
Excuse me but that bit at the start is a Total Rip of the band moments in the fab Enjoy The Silence video!!!

thursday 1
where was it? I think Loughborough. Tracey was on stage singing to backing tapes. The drunken bastard Loughborough students threw empty beer glasses at her. She burst into tears and ran off stage. Poor girl.
Metabo Oyaji 71
Loughborough too lowbrow for her then?

veronica 2
Oh dear, this is just so bad it's beyond words. We were talkin about Erasure before, this is Andy Bell (the singer) and his new solo single. And what about the video!

Metabo Oyaji 71
Oh dear. Should someone call the domestic violence hotline? He seems to have a nasty shiner.
KlingKlang 1
I used to really dislike Erasure and there is still way too much stuff that is bad than good. But that self-titled album is pretty good. There was quite a few Kraftwerk like sounds going on in a few songs on the I Say I Say I Say album too which I kinda dig.
NoFakie 45
Great tune, played flawlessly live by just the three of them. Check out the 1980s computer graphics at 2:40!
thursday 1
ah Rush. Amazes me how they can play like that and still remember the words. Kinda reminds me of Marillion.
gerard 6
If you played drums, base or guitar in the 1980's in Toronto, Rush was automatically your favourite band.
NoFakie 45
Marillion and Rush in the same sentence. I don't like that. Rush are amazing musicians and can still play great. Their tunes went downhill after Moving Pictures but so did most hard rock in the 1980s. Its great to have a rock band where the drummer and the bassist are at least equal in standing to the guitarist. There are almost an afterthought in many rock bands. Peart in particular blows loads of rock drummers away.
pie-eater 207
Wot? It's not raibu?
pie-eater 207
I like this one. ("The") Muse "playing live". For those who don't know.... The one singing and playing the bass, is the drummer. The one playing the guitar and keyboards, is the bassist. The one playing the drums, is the singer and guitarist. Cool
