big-will 7
I always liked doing the safety dance. I was quite good at it.
JA2340 16
Music Videos??? WTF, music is to LISTEN to. Video is to watch. Why the 2 are together is beyond me! Yep, I'm a BOF, but I listen to my music and do not need to watch the manufactured video that passes for music video. If I go to a show, I want to watch the performer as they perform, not a "light show" that hides the performer from the audienc
muikabochi 208
Oh come on JA, that's a bit over the top 'grumpy old man' isn't it? Music videos don't replace music. If you don't like them, simply don't watch them! I'll have to try and remember some particularly cheesy ones.
tsondaboy 0
Fab's and Fag's

NoFakie 45
Flock of Seagulls, pretty cool choice! Holy Handclaps! First 12" I ever bought. Super heavy 80s grooves. "Lads! My guitar sounds like bagpipes!!" Inspired! RIP Big Man.
thursday 1
Big Country, seriously my fav for a long time. "I never seen you look like this without a reason Another promise fallen through, another season passes by you I never took the smile away from anybody's face And that's a desperate way to look for someone who is still a child" "I'm not expecting to grow flowers in the desert But I can live and breathe and see the sun in wintertime" Always here Stu, ya pop picker. Mantas 3
The 80's will always be about the mullet to me. Australia's mullet king...............Jason Donovan.

stemik 14
Who's the guy at the top Mantas?
Mantas 3
That Stemik, would be Billy Ray Cyrus. Technically not an Eighties man but a great exponent of the eighties mullet just the same. "don't tell my heart. My achy breaky heart. I just don't think he'd understand".

NoFakie 45
Musical Youth, one of the few people to sign a worse recording contract than Bros! One of them got banged up for nicking cars soon after their demise. "Pass the Dutchie" is actually a cover version of "Pass the Koochie". A koochie is a bowl for smoking di 'erb. I think the original is by Culture, but can't be bothered to check. Since commercial shite like Kylie gets right on my tits, here are some fine 80s sounds from down under. Cult band among fans of Pebbles/Nuggets 60s garage This one is incredible live. RIP JC. A nice bit of strummy harmonies + singalong chorus And of course these. The golden age was the 70s with the scotsman, but this is a fine tribute. One more verse and it would be perfect.
happyhappy 0
Great song. Fab vid. One of my fave songs from the 80s, not particularly fab vid.
