BagOfCrisps 24
The last few days I've been watching some of the ski racing going on now (including that horrendous crash). Noticed the blue lines all over the snow both going down the left and right of the course as well as what looks like every 5 or 10 metres. I can't recall seeing that before (well, years ago when I used to watch). Are they are new regulation or something? Looks bloody awful..
marnix 0
do'nt know exactly and haven't the races, but it can be sprayed on due to the light conditions. With flatlight the vis can be good but no depth by spraying the lines the racers can see a little more depth.
aomorigum 0
I noticed those as well this year I can't recall seeing them before when I have watched racing. Looks like graffiti on the courses. Like something Japanese resorts would do to keep us all on track! (Please don't!)
2pints-mate 0
Pink might look better than that awful blue they used in Norway. Perhaps they are like the ropes in Japan, telling those naughty skiers where they must stay.
Fez 0
I only noticed them this last season actually. They look a total mess, but happily it helps those beginner racers to know where to ski so they prove to be most useful
