SnowJapan Admin SnowJapan 178 Posted February 20, 2008 SnowJapan Admin Share Posted February 20, 2008 A new interview with the creator of SnowJapan has been put online. http://www.snowjapan.com/e/features/interviews-andrew-lea.html "Last month I sat down with Mr Andrew Lea, otherwise known on the Forums as SJ#1, and more importantly the creator of SnowJapan and still the man in charge of the operation. Over the years we have had many people ask us about SnowJapan and I took this opportunity to ask him a few questions about the site, how it got started, it's history and future. SJForums (David), February 2008" http://www.snowjapan.com/e/features/interviews-andrew-lea.html

spook 0
great article. top read. i've been curious for quite a while as to the origins of SJ and the people who make it happen. i particularly like this comment Quote: I actually remember right back at the beginning when I was the only person on the Forums of the time – I was posting messages as three different people effectively talking to myself in an effort to encourage other people to post and get a conversation going. Happily that didn’t last long as a few ‘real’ people started posting!
tsondaboy 0
Great read #1 and SJF, I got many of the things I was wandering answered.

TheOrange 0
That was really interesting thanks for sharing all that detail. Yuki's Passion 1
Its funny how the members rotate in and out...I have forgotten my handle name that I had back in late 2000 early 2001...which could be a good thing. This site has gone through loads of changes and has gotten better and better. It is amazing that its a free site as, for me, its just as good as porn = where else can you be ballz deep and get face shots...? Glad to have such an informative site. Especially the forums, glad to have met so many like-minded people on here Keep up the great work SJ#1!!
rach 1
That took a while to read! But it was very interesting I agree. Thanks for sharing all the info.
tripitaka 0
It's also great to see to foreigners such as SJ#1 doing good in Japan. SJ seems to have its fair share of achievers and do-ers.
yamayamayama 2
Apart from the fact that this is a quality site, I'm always impressed with how they deal with stuff that goes down sometimes on the Forums. Some people might get frustrated at times for whatever reason, but I bet this place is all the better for it.
HeatherLocklearRocks 1
I've often wondered about this site and how it runs & funds itself. Omoshiroi. Thanks to sj.

2pints-mate 0
OK read it now. I'll use a different adjective - extremely interesting. That bit about posting as different people is funny. I think he mentioned it before. I admire the way you run things and hope you will see fit to continue.

cheeseman 1
Thanks for sharing. Have you not mentioned catering to cheesefans when you contact all these resorts? I think it is certainly a good idea - what they've been looking for in fact!
