A new feature, "Niseko Summer", written by Ian MacKenzie, has been put online.

http://www.snowjapan.com/e/features/features-71.html

"In the middle of summer, I used to think, "Only 5 months until I can ski!" Now that snow is falling in Niseko and thoughts are firmly on winter, summer feels like another world. I love winter and I love skiing but this is a "thank you", to summer gone, to the crisp curl of barbecued beef and beer at night in a t-shirt, summer in Niseko."

Nice article mate - When I was up there all winter all Kacho and Bucho use to say was, "If you love the winter up in Hokkaido, you should stick around and see summer." All the local people in Niseko said that all the time, too. Well, mate, I didnt have a chance to see the summer but hopefully will be back up there this winter. 4 months of skiing/boarding is just eating away at me - Ill end up smacking a few boarders around in Hiroshima just cuz they cant board for s#!t.
