tsondaboy 0
You might also know Miyazaki's "Nausica of the valley of the winds". But its not a Studio Ghibli movie, but was released from the company preceding Studio Ghibli. I ve watched 8/15, not bad.
woywoy 0
Never seen any of them ...
warhawk 0
Yay, first (and maybe only) vote for Porco Rosso!
Ewok 2 1
TOTORO! love makkuro kurosuke and chibi totoro. Grave of the Fireflies, i watched this with my big brother when we were little, he kept laughing at me cuz i was crying way too much. Great film though.
warhawk 0
Yeah Grave of the Fireflies is a bit of a gut-wrencher, isn't it. Gut-wrencher or tear-jerker? they both make sense don't they?
tsondaboy 0
It makes sense, that movie is too sad. I lost my appetite after watching it and tsonda girl didn't stop crying all the way... Thats a movie made by Takahata, not Miyazaki. He is the one responsible for all the not so fairytale looking movies.

Ewok 2 1
after that film, my brother never gave me a candy. i bet he got shy. boyz... enjoyed the book as well. was written in 1967. "アメリカひじき・火垂るの墓" by 野坂 昭如.
Oyuki kigan 0
Naussicca is by far my favorite Miyazaki movie ever. Actually, it IS my favorite movie ever, next to Star Wars. And the manga is even better than the movie.
Ewok 2 1
Laputa's also good. Still haven't seen Star Wars yet. Oyuki's ignoring me still...
bobby12 0
I voted for: Only Yesterday (omohide pororo) Porco Rosso Grave of the fireflies I think Miyazakis movies are totally different to Takahatas. I prefer Takahatas more realistic style. Porco Rosso though is a good laugh so I added that in favor of the likes of pompoko which was lame. I saw another one, not a movie but set of short-movies called PANDA-GOPANDA - that was amazing, really trippy about some girl who gets adopted by a motherless family of bears. tsondaboy 0
I still haven't decided which is my Miyazaki's favourite, Nausica or Laputa.

thursday 1
I see. Up to 3 and I voted more than that. OK my bad.
indosnm 0
I voted for Totoro because it's the only film I've seen. I think it's a great movie for the kids and one I don't mind watching with them. My youngest loves the Makuro kurosuke too and at night usually yells out "makuro kurosuke dette oiiiide!" I don't know if I would be watching these if it wasn't for my kids.. please don't mistake me for one of those horrible Magna otaku's!
