muikabochi 208
Bandai is a nice area orinoco. I have never been in mid-winter but a few friends here rate it. A bit far to get round there, even though if there was a direct tunnel it wouldn't be that far!
rach 1
I really want to go up to that region. It's all a bit far.
soubriquet 0
Bandai is easy to get to if you live any where from Fukushima to northern Kanto. Someone here must have been there.
Fattwins 0
Bandai is very popular with the Japanese freestyle scene. Expect somewhat busy weekends. about 8 meters or more of snow per season. Some good short stuff linked off of traverses by the looks of it. Advertises a good park.

farquah 0
I went to Bandai and Gran Dekko(or however it is spelt!) two years ago. Not too far from me at all. Was late season and rainy last time I was in Bandai so not the best conditions but wasn't a bad mnt. Some decent stuff out to the back of it with a great run through the trees where I didn't see another person all day. The parks there and at Gran Nekko are pretty good lots of boxes, rails and the rest. If you go way out to the left of the map there is a super sweet run down threw the trees which opens out into a little clearing in one place which was wicked fun to piss around in. From Chiba only took about 2/2.5 hours to get to I think. Would go again.
sunrise 0
wow, it's that close. Years ago I was out that way and got invited to go X-country skiing with the local rice farmers and their wives, no-one was under 50, had a great day! Is there no cross country skiing here? I quite like it, but that's the only time I've ever seen it here.
