Tubby Beaver 209
Graig Gordon is a good keeper, just hope he made the right choice by going to a team likely to struggle, he's gonna be a busy man!! Its not as if he hasn't performed in decent games before, he's been in goal when we drew with Italy at home, beat France at Home, so he knows all about the big games, Believe me, Sunderland have a good keeper....he's no Alan Rough! Tubby Beaver 209
I got told last night that Sky Perfect won't be showing the football, WOWWOW apparently have the rights......thats unconfirmed pub talk though
scouser 4
TB - Wowow already do the Spanish league and they have tied up for things this season.... see the link to the page. Are you sure that isn't what the pub talk is about? I'm not sure if Wowow is a good move (for us). They have less channels and with the Spanish league they only seem to put one or two games on a week anyway. Whatever, I just want to know.
Tubby Beaver 209
they guy I was speaking to was an english guy and he said that they have the Premiership, just have to wait and see I suppose. Is there nothing on the J-sports channels on cable?
giggsy 0
Premiership is go! Hope you get your games over in Japan. We have to get both Sky and Sultana (or something) here if we want the maximum number of games now. Skys stranglehold is over. Perhaps this has something to do with the situation over in Japan as well.
pie-eater 207
We lost Man City actually looked good :eek smiley: Liverpool won with a fantastic Gerrard free kick but NO WAY was that a free kick. We need tv replays to decide on stuff like that.
rach 1
Very frustrating game just now...
Tubby Beaver 209
Yeah Giggsy, SETANTA have premiership games now, they've had the Scottish Premier for a couple of years I think, there coverage is ok, not quite as good as SKY's but watchable. It's an Irish company
Tubby Beaver 209
did anyone actually get to watch a game over here?
soubriquet 0
It's going to interesting to follow Sunderland this season. It seems that Roy Keane isn't just an argumentative git, but has a really sharp footballing brain. The match report in the Grauniad is quite entertaining. http://football.guardian.co.uk/Observer_Match_Report/0,,2147104,00.html
BagOfCrisps 24
You are right, they might shock a few people. Entertaining games over the weekend, and quite funny to see ManYoo not winning.
2pints-mate 0
Yes it was fun (in the end). Some quite close games. I think this season really might end up being much closer than it has for a while.

Tubby Beaver 209
the games aren't on live though. They seem to be shown a week after they've played which is no use, I've already found out the score etc. This is shite!
bobby12 0
I think they will be showing them live. And it seems like some will be in HV too. http://www.jsports.co.jp/search/sys/kensaku.cgi?Genre2=0201 If all the games are on jskysports then its cheaper than last yr when i had to pay for 2 packages to get the games. scouser 4
Looks like they are live to me, with repeats - just like we had before. (The question is how many games will they be showing in a normal week). But after worrying that we might get nowt, this is good. I won't get HV as I have the normal skyperfect but I can cope with that. CL will be on a different package I suppose. I'll be checking it all out when I get back to Japan next week. pie-eater 207
Yes they are live - with repeats. Just like before. Very pleased. Lets hope we get at least as many games a week as before.
