tonester 0
Will be there in 10 days . I have never been to Niseko before. I don't think my own skis are appropriate for Niseko's famed deep powder. Can anyone suggest good quality high end ski hire in Niseko. I don't care about cheap, I care about good skis that are suitable for the local conditions.
crazyski 0
tonster, the place in hirafu closest to the bottom of the gondola seemed to know it's stuff. They had demo-quality skis of Seth Pistols, pocket rockets, among others. They should be able to set ya up.
IM 0
The place is called Sports Rent Ciao right at the edge of the Gondola Parking. If you are interested in a quality (I mean the latest)tele gear, the new place called Toyru, a brand new small log building below Ciao on the right side can set you up, also. crazyski 0
yup, i saw them workin' hard into the night to get that building open around xmas time. the niseko adventure center has some tele gear, too, as well as the sports store in kutchan whose name I seem to have forgotten. Its across the street and towards the station from the snowboard shop called boom. good luck.
IM 0
crazyski, I found the rentals from NAC dated. Tyru seems to have the latest gear(may be this seaon only!) Also the name of the shop is Sports Takiguchi. http://wwww.spotaki.co.jp They are known to have a great sale on powder skis at the end of the season. This place also owns Ciao, so they do not have rental programs at this location.
