sanjo 2
OK OK I am sure that the vast majority of the time the lift people at the places I go to just don't look and check my ticket and couldn't give a donkey. Do they check yours?
zebedee 1
They don't seem to give that much attention to it, but they do take a quick look.
Markie 0
When I was at Karuizawa, there was one and a half days I remember when I left my ski part in the hotel room but didn't even realize it till I got back and so obviously nobody checked.
dancing_barefoot 0
They don't seem to take much notice.
Thunderbird2 0
Depends on the resort, but they seem to give it a glance each time.
mikazooki 0
i'm pretty sure those robots inside the ETC machines check mine every single time!
veronica 2
Usually the first time they see me I notice them looking, but after that... ETC machines? Where's that then?
bulbous 0
They don't seem to take much notice esp once they've looked once.
grungy-gonads 54
Most of the lift people seem frightened of me, perhaps I could go without a ticket and they'd still not talk!
scoobydoo 0
At least the first time, I'm sure they're craftily taking a look at the tickets. I'll make sure to see tomorrow.
wendy-cake 0
I went up to Marunuma today. It was really good. I forgot to put my ticket on my arm so it spend the day in my back pocked. No-one seemed to notice and I didn't get questioned once!!
Karnidge 2
They take a look most of the time - too much to be able to get by without a ticket for sure.
andy-pandy 0
Me too - they always seem to look at mine.
keikoku 0
I had mistakenly worn my lift ticket arm-band inside-out, so you could not see the ticket.. and no one said anything..
mattlucas 0
Last weekend I skiied about an hour past the cut-off point for my pass. Nobody said a thing.
base40 0
They invariably don't. I've been out there for nearly full days with tickets in my pocket and no-one ever said anything. If you try to do it without a ticket, they're bound to ask you.
sanjo 2
Interesting. I was at Ishiuchi today, phew - serious snow today! - and I was checking. I think about 1 in 10 times they looked at my ticket. And I was all over the place.
joshnii 2
At Kandatsu, where I was today, there's only 1 way to get to the courses - take the bottom lifts. They were giving the tickets a good look over at that lift. After that, they didn't seem to take much notice, but that first lift they were being pretty strict.
