nagpants 1
How about your best day out so far. Mine was back in December after that freaky snowfall in Hakuba up at Happo. Awesome. That first time of the season in such great conditions was just ace.
mattlucas 0
Not sure about best day I think it was Jan 7th But best run in my life will go down as Niseko Hirafu Peak to Road. About 1000 metres vert of untracked under perfect blue sky. I think Danz will agree with me there. Beatiful. Perfect.

HA! Really, though, I'm just jealous. I guess you deserved a good peak run after bailing to chase girls earlier, eh, toque?

Dims 0
lp lover, That movie of the cliff jump stomp made me want to go boarding so badly I nearly quit my job. Love the commentary as well. Played it about 10 times. Everything about it made me think of the best times, just you and you mates, good snow, clear skies and hooting and laughing your ass off. Thanks for that. Nice landing too! See you in pillowland.

Plucky 0
LPL - AWESOME PICS AND VID CLIPS!!! Shit, I live 1.5 hours from there and have NEVER gotten it on a day like that. What a gorgeous and perfect day at Hakkoda! I know exactly where those drops are at - good fun - I just usually can't see the landing on the days I go Toque says it well - any day with friends out on the slopes is a good day! alferg 0
yeah, we went with folk who had spent last season skiing Hakkouda, & they couldnt believe the lush conditions either - as soon as we got up there, we headed straight for the radio tower, brushed the rime off the ladder, climbed up & started shooting. I have a stack more pics we took that day, which i'll post soon. & that drop is totally sick - on the left ridge of the Moke, under the cable-car. The landing is totally blind even with sunlight, but that was 1/2 the fun - the cameraman scopes the landing out & you just launch into the sky & hope for the best - huge adrenaline rush! Unforunately when we went back 2 days later, there was a new drift under the jump which we couldnt clear, but we had some fun trying - movies of this are also coming soon hmm, friends & snowboarding... 6 months wait for me now!
