Another shipping question

I did a quick search but found nothing pertinent. Maybe you guys know something off the top of your heads.

A J-teacher wants to send a big box of stuff to her daughter in Australia. Is there a cheaper way to send it than with the post office?

Thanks for the help

Not sure it helps or not though.

I got what I ordered from Canada by airmail today. They invoice roughly 45 Canadian dollars (approximately 4600 yen ) for my 1.5kgs box. It was through post office, they said.

I think OCS (Oversea Courier Service)costs a lot more.

yes, but the time it takes is 2-3 months and my guess is that this might want to make it to OZ by Xmas.

I have sent some car parts from the post office.
maybe just under 1kg and the standard price was 8,000 and the EMS was 4,000. EMS was a 4 day delivery, standard was upto 2 weeks ?????? wakaranai.gif
