lin 0
5,400rpm or 7,200rpm Obviously the 7,200 one is faster (and more expensive), but in reality when using a computer are we talking about a really noticeable difference between the two? Thanks.
sava 0
There will be a much, much bigger difference if you don't have as much memory as the hard disk will used as 'virtual' memory. Overall, if you multitask a lot, you'll definitely notice it and the 7,200 would be better to go with.
lin 0
Thanks. Actually it's for a new one I'm thinking of getting which will have a lot of memory and other fairly high specs. I suppose if I am getting other good specs I might as well spend a bit more to get a hdd that lives up to the rest of it
orinoco 0
I noticed a difference. Having said that, there were other factors at play. If you are going hispec, it will surely be worth the little extra.
