indosnm 0 Posted November 17, 2006 Share Posted November 17, 2006 you can do any bank BUT to open an account for non residents usually you have to go to the branch and provide details etc. You must give an address but the loophole is that if you go in the first 14 days of arriving then you don't need to provide an address. Looks like ya mate might have to take a trip. I use Westpac, theres ANZ, Commonwealth, NAB and a heap of building societies. For internet bacnking I'd stick to the big 4 mentioned above.
