Kumapix 0
that's total bs hmmm I've been thinking of switching. I'm on softbank now but I've got over 5000 points saved up which i could use to get my next phone for free/or real cheap Is docomo still more expensive than the others or has competition brought it down? bushpig 0
I'm in the same boat odile. I've been thinking of switching, but don't really know how much cheaper it'd end up being.
Fattwins 0
go look at the plans if you are on contracts now they are still valid. willcom is great for city slickers but not good in the mountains.
bushpig 0
yeah, I have looked at other company's plans and couldn't see much diff for my usage. This latest news got me interested again.
muikabochi 208
On the news last night that less than 10% were interested in a survey, mostly because of the cost of moving and the mail address thing. Do many of you guys and gals use keitai mail? I've not used it once.
bushpig 0
I use it a lot.
Kumapix 0
how about meiwaku mail? I've heard that on docomo you don't get any. I'm still using my jphone set and i get usually 1 or 2 per day
Kumapix 0
speak of the devil... just as I wrote that post another came!
bushpig 0
Shit! I didn't get any for years with jphone and then about 3 months ago I started getting about 10 a day And recently they are in jibberish English (and for any of you smart-arses, no I haven't been using my keitai to look at porn)
I'm Sexy 0
I use it mail quite much recently. I think many people don't want change because of it.
bushpig 0
but the thing is, it's not hard to send out a mail to all the people on your contact list telling them your new mail address
I'm Sexy 0
I agree. But many people saying like this.
bushpig 0
yeah I heard that last night on the news quite a bit, but it sounds like a lame excuse.
Kumapix 0
yeah, i get those mails from friends all the time ('here is my new address'). My problem is that the whole family is on the softbank program so that it's super cheap to call each other. If I were to switch to docomo i'd lose that family discount
bushpig 0
then no need to switch if you have a cheap deal amongst the main people you call.
Kumapix 0
well, just for better range in the mountains and cooler phones. I totally hated the vodafone phones! they were soooo bad. The new softbank phones look a lot better though, so that is promising. I think I'll stick around a bit longer.
bushpig 0
yeah access seems to be the only real issue, but I rarely have probs even with that. But I reckon if I were in the mountains more it might give me the shits. In resort riding is no prob, but out in it a bit more might get bad.
Kumapix 0
yeah, same here. I never have problems in resorts. I was just not liking the phone designs I guess. I hate Nokia phones. when vodafone released them I thought that was the biggest marketing mistake ever.
bushpig 0
yeah, some of their older phones were better (when they were jphone). Whatever, it's just a phone, and for most of the time it's in my pocket, out of sight.
jgraves 0
Mine phone was 1 yen. au. Works great even on the mountains I was on last year.
slow 0
I proposed a plan installing new PBX and using Willcom as office phone instead of land-line the other day and it was approved by executives. I was always frustrated by telephone line in my office. Wireless makes it easy to design layout and workers are happy because they don't need to use their private Keitai for business anymore, plus free talk between workers anywhere in and out of the office. win-win solution, yey! merryJim 1
Whats PBX slow? Is docomo still the best range?
joshnii 2
They seem to be having a few problems with overload. I wonder how many people % wise will change...
grungy-gonads 54
Love those full page ads with the huge 0 YEN sign and the tiny tiny conditions written at the bottom. Funny.
Kumapix 0
how much meiwaku mail does everyone get? recently I've been getting 2 or 3 per day I'm on jphone/softbank
