big-will 7
That is a great pic - thats their poster pic. What do you think? Morning or evening?
brit-gob 9
Evening?
rach 1
That does look nice. Is that the sister hotel to the Crazy Hotel at Cortina?
gammaman 0
B-W, do you know? I go for morning. When I went there was the same mist in the morn. Also nobody on the slopes and they have nighta. Am I right? Cool pic nonetheless.
big-will 7
I don't know, I'm afraid. SJ Andrew might know, I'm pretty sure he lives somewhere in that area.
gammaman 0
Hey, only 9 people won the 10 tickets to ARAI. Does that mean there is one put aside for me?
SnowJapan Admin SnowJapan#Andrew 6 Posted January 17, 2004 SnowJapan Admin Share Posted January 17, 2004 Can see my house there (nearly) We'll ask the resort about the photo.
SnowJapan.Com#2 0
Joetsu Kokusai just told us. The pic above was taken just before 7am. Have a good weekend!
cal 6
Excellent photo, I have seen it in Tokyo too on a poster.
woywoy 0
Awesome photo. Very very awesome.
nori-chan 0
That is a beautiful photo! I think that will be MAkihata in background mountain.
scouser 4
Certainly looks good, excellent photo. I think more resorts should use stunning view photos like that in their posters instead of the stoopid generic smiling people standing on "any mountain".
big-will 7
I agree scouser. 90% of all resorts posters are just people smiling with their boards. It's rubbish. Aren't Japanese enticed by fab views?

merryJim 1
GOOD It gives me more of a chance, I like the place....
damian 0
It is a great picture. But have a look at it: about centre, slightly left. There appears to be a huge mound with a big flat area on the up hill side of it. The left hand side chair is coming up over it. See it? What would you do if you accidently rode there? walk out? Anyone been there and can confirm what this odd bit of terrain is?
dai_koubutsu 0
You can ski out of it no probs, just can't see it in the picture.
