69 5
Great picture, would like to see a bigger clearer version of that.
daver 0
hey it goes to show that you should not attempt to escape a bear by climbing a tree. but then again, it also suggests that you really need not worry about bear encounters. i'm confused.
bushpig 0
Daver, if confronted by a bear just start hissing and howling at it! Bear your teeth and take a few swipes at its nose!
zebedee 1
Bears are just big cuddly teddies. This is proof. Anyone ever met or been near one in the wild?
bushpig 0
Yep, Grizzly Man thought so too, until he was decapitated and devoured by one!

daver 0
did you know that a grizzley can out run a horse? and they are faster running up hill than they are at running down. now to take this thread back to the "who would win?" topic: a female grizzley defending her cubs vs a tiger; who would? i say the grizzley. now, as for the shark.... bushpig 0
just to throw another thought (possibly a spanner) into the works, did you know that an Australian saltwater crocodile can outrun a horse over the first 50 meters?
daver 0
now i would not have been surprised if you had said for the first 5 meters, but 50?!?!? yikes so what animals are fighting what now?
bushpig 0
yikes indeed! what animals? bear v croc v tabbie! 3-way death match! Of course it has to be in that tabbie's yard to give it the necessary help it needs. That thing has balls the size of Jupiter!
daver 0
i like the idea of a steal cage, ladder, three man tag-team with the tiger, bear, and taby in one corner, and the croc, shark, and ummmmm how about a goose in the other. first team to climb the ladder, get the belt, escape from the cage, and power slam the opponent's manager into the announcer's booth is the winner and ultimate champion of the universe.
