akibun 0
How do you call a animal - do you use him or her or it? And does it depend on whether pet or not? (For example, how about wild crow?) Thank you!
bushpig 0
it for a crow or something like that. him/her if you actually know the sex, but even then it can be ok. With a pet you would probably be more likely to use him/her.
bushpig 0
If it is your pet dog then go with him or her.
bobby12 0
It took me a few weeks to start calling my baby a 'him' instead of 'it', never mind dumb animals.
gamera 0
I remember at a page in the English class textbook in my junior high school 1st grade (What a memory, it's more than 30 years ago! ) it described like.... ******************** This is a dog "ITS" name is Andy. ******************** So I would go with "ITS" as far as I don't know the sex. Sorry for Andrew-s in here lol...
slimeypete 0
If I know if an animal is a boy or a girl, I'll call it him/her - whatever animal it is. I know someone who generally hates animals. Even with peoples pets, he calls them "it". Cold person he is.
