white-void 0 Posted April 1, 2006 Share Posted April 1, 2006 Has anyone tried this "surstromming", apparently Swedens national dish.... a fermented herring, some says smells like garbage left out in the sun for days. Sounds like it would go well with natto. It seems that some airlines are banning it , "classified along with dangerous weapons like shoe bombs and firearms." Link to post Share on other sites

Next time you come, you should try some of these off-beat delicacies. Grasshoppers, river lavae, bee grubs, rabbit dropping tempura - all good.
