peterson 0
Have you seen this, SP fans? South Park has exacted revenge on its former star Isaac Hayes by turning his character Chef into a paedophile and seemingly killing him off. The opening episode of the 10th series, screened in the US on Wednesday, appeared to be a satire on Scientology. Hayes, a Scientologist, quit the animated comedy after a different episode ridiculed the religion. In the new show, Chef is brainwashed by the "Super Adventure Club" - thought to be a veiled reference to Scientology. The other characters are angry at "that fruity little club for scrambling his brains". http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/4836286.stm Don't mess with them!
nzlegend 1
co-creator Matt Stone said: "In 10 years and over 150 episodes of South Park, Isaac never had a problem with the show making fun of Christians, Muslim, Mormons or Jews. He got a sudden case of religious sensitivity when it was his religion featured on the show."

alferg 0
The plot thickens... here's an audio clip of Issac Hayes defending the Scientology episode T:\depts\movies\_Fun_Stuff\IsaacHayesDefends_SouthPark.mp3 Fox News reported awhile ago that Isaac Hayes didn't quit South Park and never issued the press release saying he was offended by their Scientology episode, but rather left the show after suffering a stroke. Now Page Six is claiming the press release was actually put out by other Scientologists, saying: That release was put out by fellow Scientologist Christina "Kumi" Kimball, a fashion executive for designer Craig Taylor. According to foxnews.com, "Hayes loves 'South Park' and needs it for income. He has a new wife and a baby on the way." from http://www.thesuperficial.com/archives/2006/03/23/isaac_hayes_back_stabbed_by_sc.html Chef's untimely, horrific end - http://youtube.com/watch?v=pBfQKPAXCwo&search=south%20park%20chef%20returns Chef's Eulogy http://youtube.com/watch?v=dQkc2gtPyBk&search=south%20park%20chef%20returns
number9 0
What's up with the seemingly high proportion of Entertainment industry people being Scientologists, when compared to the general population? Or are they just more visible?
