akibun 0
Since few years ago sometimes I watch program called Dallas. It's so funny (but not comedy). Everybody is so nasty for each other, bad relationships, scandal, double crossing (?), all the time. Was it very popular? Are some people really like that I wonder?
ncorrenti 0
I vaguely remember watching Dallas when I was a kid. I think it was very popular at the time. Probably the closest thing to it on TV right now is The Bold and the Beautiful, or maybe The OC. Gotta love trashy television!
tsondaboy 0
It was really popular when I was a kid also. I never wached it though because I am not a big fan of TV. Is The Bold and the Beautiful still running Nicole?
grungy-gonads 54
JR is a great character. Bobby used to annoy me with his whisper-talking. My mum used to like watching the ladies fashions. It was massively popular in the UK when the Who Shot JR story was going on. I presume it was in the US as well.
ncorrenti 0
Yep I'm pretty sure it is. Crazy huh?
tsondaboy 0
Holly sh.... I remeber that thing when it first came in Greece in 86-87. It mast be running for more than 2 decades now! It makes me really sad to realise how low mast be the IQ of the average people in the world, that have been waching/supporting this crap for all this time.
NoFakie 45
Didn't they write off an entire series as a "dream" so they could get Bobby back into it?
Curt 1
Yes. He turned up in the shower and it was all Pams dream. Classy stuff. I think there were about 12 seasons in all.
Thunderpants 0
ever wondered why the headmaster of the school in South Park is called principal Victoria? (she really deserves a picture) She is named after the great actress Victoria Principal who played Pam! (she deserves a picture) Bobby's real name is Patrick Duffy (he also deserves a picure)
oo 1
Patrick Duffy - the man from Atlantis!! If anyone from Dallas deserves a picture, it must surely be JR
Thunderpants 0
Yeah, no doubt JR is da man! But Lucy and Miss Ellie.... let's not forget Sue Ellen

igloo 3
Jock and Clayton! What a bunch of... characters!
big-will 7
The most annoying character was by far Sue Ellen. Not only was she really uggs, but she couldn't act and her character was rubbish as well. Rubbish! I used to really fancy the April Stevens character. (Well the chick who played her). scoobydoo 0
Do people really wear those hats still?
kintaro 0
This thread is hillarious! My sister actually moved to Dallas and we went to the Ewing (sp?) office building and ranch. They really exist, it's not Hollywood. So, we also went to Fort Worth (a suburb)...the hats really exist as well. We stopped at the largest 'honky tonk' in the world called Billy Bob's (see movie -Urban Cowboy- with John Travolta) and you wouldn't believe the world you step into..Cowboys dancing around with cowgirls, mechanical bulls, bouncers saying 'how ya'all doing folk'? And they weren't even joking! It fealt like a theme park... but it wasn't!

fukdane 2
I think surely most people would agree that Lucy Ewing was THE most annoying character.

wakaran 1
Sounds like you are a fan, Thunderpants. JR did come out with some classics. I used to watch it when I was a kid. My mum preferred Dynasty.
merryJim 1
Cater McKay No Bobby photos yet? and this is when he came back. It was all a dream!! (All 20+ episodes! )
Thunderpants 0
Not really a fan. i was a kid when the show was on in Denmark, that was back when you could ask your friends "did you watch tv last night" if they answered yes you know that they had watched the same program. there was only one channel. this tread just made me nostalgic i guess! HighlyTrainedNovaTeacher 2
Are you watching it on the tv now? I catch it every so often, though it's near the end now when all its energy was drained out of it and it got particularly bad.
