farquah 0
Things not looking good for the footbal ledgend and serious one time booze artist. George Best on last legs
scouser 4
Yes looks like he is on the way out. A football legend indeed. He is hardly the kind of character that makes you feel real sympathetic though... not that I wish bad for him of course. I just find some of the outpouring of grief (that already seems to be going on and will surely get worse) a bit too much at times.

1 4
It seems he really doesn't have much longer now, "final hours".
nzlegend 1
His famous quote. "I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered," Interesting phenomenon how ones feats as a sports player nullifys your bad doings and puts you up on a pedestal. Assaulting woman, drink driving... thats not cool. I hear ya Scouser while you dont wish him ill its hard to feel sorry for him.

Honest John 0
A man of extremes, but just a brilliant football player. Some of the good and bad http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/4312792.stm
BagOfCrisps 24
Seems he was penniless and getting treated for free when he died. http://observer.guardian.co.uk/uk_news/story/0,6903,1651788,00.html How can these "superstars" and celebs people get to be in a situation like that with all the wealth they had? (I presume Best did have wealth at one time). I just can't comprehend it, I'm too sensible...
