Yes, a real good feel about the place.

I wonder what thoughts are going through the minds of the people who do this? You'd think if they were giving something a word that was foreign to them, they'd really try and check it out.

I suppose the "Smell" bar really was thinking of more romantic words like "Fragrance".... though that's not really a good name for a bar either is it? lol.gif

Matsumoto has a ladies boutique called

FANNY FACE

(Unfortunate Audrey Hepburn fan perhaps).

It's across the road from the Riverside imported food shop/restaurant place.

Hakuba's finest is

PAB "NAKID LADY"

It's behind the lifts on the Iimori side of Goryu. Big purple sign.

In Sendai we too have Fanny beauty salons, but we also have:

a bar called Vajiina

a clothes shop called Sperm

and barber shops called Hair by Monkeys (I think) and (my personal favourite) Hair by Pantera.

Ive always wanted my hair styled by metal has-beens.

Saw the best name for a convenience store the other day in Ueno.

It was just a picture of a "thumbs up" with the kanji for alcohol under it.

Inspired by the artist formerly named Prince, no doubt.

I'd post a picture, but I'm still trying to figure out how.

That's a pretty strange name, especially if that's the alphabetic spelling. Now that environmentalism has become trendy you see all kinds of slogans written in katakana.
...like...

クリーンザアース
セーヴザアース
ラヴザアース
ワンビッグアース
...

clean the ass
save the ass
love the ass
one big ass
