Ocean11 0
Special Brew gets a big thumbs down from me too! Alcoholic syrup in a tin. (That didn't stop me drinking it some mornings while attending the University of Pizzahut.) That and Chunderbird Wine...
scouser 4
Special Brew - ah, it was goddam awful, but a lot of it was consumed on a Friday night before a night out. That and small bottles of vodka. A few cans and the vodka, and we were ready for the night out.

2pints-mate 0
A good pint of Caffreys, or a nice Guinness to start a night off. Lovely. Can you get all that over there?

BigSausage 0
Whats with the Winter Beers that I've seen in the vending machines? The Sapporo one that's got loads of snow and stuff on it - is it a new flavor or just packaging?
barok 0
I tried the Sapporo Winter, It`s nothing special, I think they used a ESB hops in hopes of giving it a little bit of an English Bitter flavor, but it is pretty same same.
damian 0
Corona. Followed by any beer other than the stout or other similiar 'thick' brews (Kilkeny (sp?) etc). Japan makes excellent beer all round. Very pleasing.
Yuki's Passion 1
Miteyak, Sorry ya didnt like the white I enjoy that beer eventhough it has a sort of strange fruity taste going... But, in the Fall, for Japanese beers, Kirin Aki aji is one of my favs. Probably just cuz winter is around the corner!!!

Yuki's Passion 1
Ginga Kogen is a Kyushu beer. I know its just not the same but I really love the Guiness which has the CO2 cartridge in it. Thats a great beer -Of course draught is the only way to go... Basically, any beer thats like a meal in a glass is fine by me

Mongoose 0
I was a Tooheys old man , but have swung towards Boags premiumn..very tasty..since working in this hole Adelaide.. Coopers special brew..the aged shit..They do know how to brew beer here! In japan..love those 600ml sapporo draughts chilled in the snow.. But like all good Aussies..any bl**dy beer as long as it's cold and someone else bought it for ya! Stuck in a heatwave..best beer drinking weather!Crack us a cold one mate!! Cheers big ears!! Ocean11 0
Japanese beer rather loses what little appeal it has when it gets cold. Chilled beer when your house is 80% arctic is not really what's called for. Sake on the other hand...
neversummer 0
to all the aussies out there.. Cascade Premium or Boags!! the only two quality beers. add in Coopers Pale Ale for a good threesome!
