Yuki's Passion 1
For those of you who are wondering what to do this weekend, since we still cant get to the slopes for some pow pow, if youre close enough you should come to the Sake Matsuri in Higashi Hiroshima. Close to 1000 different bottles of Sake from the entire country will be there - from Okinawa to Hokkaido, Miyazaki to Ina shi. It costs 1200 yen to get in and then its Nomihodai the entire day, Saturday 11am-9pm and Sunday from 9am-5pm. You do have to pay for each day, but geeze, with the best sake in Japan there and all you can drink... not too bad a deal. You can also enjoy the historic sights of all the local "touji" or sake brewers. Most of the sake at the brewers is free and you can learn how they make it. I wanna say there are about 10-15 breweries but dont remember - must have been a little drunk last year Hope to see yall there!!!
