Guest
Good idea or not? I will know if its a good idea within the next 30 minutes (as Ireland try it out)
The Skull 0
It can make for exciting stuff with everyone wanting to avoid penalties. I have just turned it on now and it seems that penalties may well be on the cards here....
Guest
Oh no. It's penalties. I am signing off now and opening up some alcohol.
scouser 4
Too bad luck there, go-ireland. Penalties are a serious pain.
Sharon 0
I can't believe Ireland missed 4 penalties in this match. My heart was in my mouth. The ONLY conselation (sp?) is that I'll get to see sexy Morientes in the next round. Bad luck Ireland!
bobby12 0
I cant beleive Eire didnt win, they were ALL OVER THEM in extra time! Nightmare! Their keeper was fantasic though...
Guest
That wasn't good. They deserved to win.
grungy-gonads 54
Don't like it. Ireland did well, you should be proud, but it hurts when you go out like that.
Mudguts 0
Why isn't Golden Goal just played until someone scores? So be it if it takes a long time. I've never understood why this hasn't been attempted. Penalty shoot outs are a joke. It bears no resemblance to the game that was just played over 2 hours previously and is pure luck. Why not just junken for the winner. Same concept.
