I'd really like to see what 'someone who knows!!!' and her other incarnations looks like. Maybe if instead of deleting members' responses to f/maggots SJG took a more member-friendly position, we wouldn't have this sort of thing... How about registration required? It's not as if you have to trawl the bottom for visitors anymore. But photos would be very nice. Link to post Share on other sites

I might have to check out freehomepage.com now that NoFakie has got himself a site... NoFakie, you seem to have made vapour trails there. And where are my other snaps eh?! I think you have a nice one of me wiping out, among others... Linking to other sites is all very well, but I think what barok is talking about is something hosted by SJG. You can find the address of most pics on the web in Windows by right-clicking on them and looking at "properties". If you try with my pic, you'll see that the address is http://nofakie.freehomepage.com/images/arai_peak_small.jpg My pic is on a free home page that I set up this morning. It only took ten minutes to put the pic up. The company hosting my page and the pic is www.freehomepage.com If you don't like their service, there are tons of other companies that'll put your stuff up. To put the pic in message to this bulletin board, put the tags on each side of the address of the pic. Don't press Enter between the tags and the address. Since some people have slow connections, try to keep your pic below say 30KB. You can do this by editing it in a program like Microsoft Photo Editor, Paint Shop Pro etc. Note that pics taken straight from a modern digital camera will be much larger than 30KB and make this thread very slow to load. It would be great if SJG could set up a page, but it's not that difficult to save them the bother and put up a pic by yourself. Link to post Share on other sites

I can understand if people want to show relatives and friends photos/diary etc, but some pages seem so meaningless. Although I am sure they have some meaning to their owners.
