nori-chan 0
I wonder why Star Wars seems so popular and fashionable compared to Star Trek, that I think much better (especially Next gen and DS9). I'm interested in people thinking.
damian 0
Look for Yoda and you find the answer.
snowboard_freak 0
Neither! I dont like either of them! But our smoking buddy Yoda is pretty classy!

grungy-gonads 54
Star Trek beats Wars hands down I reckon. I hated the original series, but after that there's some decent stuff. Can't say the same for any of Star Ward.
white-void 0
Star Wars - ma-ma Star Trek original - ahem Star Trek Next Generation - fairly decent DS9 - fairly decent Voyager - Seven of Nine was very decent (!) Enterprise - not seen it
damian 0
7 of 9 was hot. To annoy my girlfriend I call her 2 of 9.
cal 6
Not into trek at all. Shatner put me off.
Ocean11 0
Shatner was trying to put you off - that was his mission. He made a point of going to Trekkie Conventions and telling the sufferers to 'Get a life'. Sometimes he called them 'freaks'. He was a 5th columnist making a brave attempt to help people out of the Star Trek illness, and warn off others who might fall prey to it. He clearly succeeded with cal. Star Wars has now become what it always wanted to be - a space version of Who Fwamed Wodger Wabbit. It now largely consists of Liam Neeson holding poker faced conversations with more or less comical computer animations. It's just a dog and pony show, with the same walk 'n talk plotlines that characterized every single episode. (Hint to Liam - you wouldn't look nearly so bored if you actually had some other actors to look at.) I think the two entertainments should follow the practice of Japanese villages and towns and merge into one. They could call themselves 'Star Twek' or maybe 'Star Twarks'. scouser 4
Don't like either, but if I had to sit through one of them it would be Trek
woywoy 0
I am sorry all you star trek and star wars nerds out there... but no matter how much I try I cant get in to either of them. I have tried... my best mate is a full star wars freak so I have been subjected to these shows for many years. Still no good! I just dont get it! ... I will give you one thing though, Yoda is a legend!
damian 0
If consumed in small doses, Red Dwarf beats both of them.

jaws 0
Babylon 5 beats both hands down.
talisker 0
is this even a debate!!! Starwars beats the lot hands down...ahem early star wars,,, the new one are crap. Han, Luke Leia, R2, Chewie....come on people...Dr Spock! Scottie!(American by the way) and Kirk...Starwars is a clear winner....
Karl 0
I may be in the minority, but I think that Star Wars always did and still does suck big time. Babylon 5 is the best, Trek can be tiresome but better than SW.
TheOrange 0
Minority maybe, but I hate Star Wars too - never could see the appeal.
faithless 0
Dislike both.
