Can anyone tell me how much a ticket on the Tokyo --> Nagano Bullet Train (Asama Shinkansen)is? Actually I need 2 tickets on Sunday February 10th. Whats the easiest / cheapest way to get from Tokyo - Nagano on a Sunday and then back again on Thursday? Thanks

Ill have 4 days of skiing. Feb 11,12,13,14. What should I try first? I'm intermediate-advanced and my girlfriend is a beginner.

Where should I start? I am an intermediate-advanced skier who has skied all over North America and is coming to Japan for the first time during Chinese New Year. I want to ski a resort in Nagano that is big enough to offer all kinds of skiing as well as apres skiing attractions. Of course I would also like my first Japan ski trip to be as English-friendly as possible. Any suggestions? I am looking at Nozawa Onsen and Hakuba right now.
