  2. Yes Sirree I am 3 weeks and counting!!! Few dramas before leaving, Obviously the flood situation, Cyclone now forming out to sea and I am also bring a very unwanted injury with me BUT I AM COMING!! Glad the hospital was decent have a feeling I am going to be ending up there!!

  4. Just to put some reality in for people who think this is NOTHING!!! My friends lost their 4 year old son from the grips of a rescuer and now a lose of life he is just a statistic to everyone but tragically missed by everyone. My friends 20 year old niece is missing along with 10 of her horses. Reported in the newspaper when the inland tsunami hit Toowoomba (which is 700 metres above sea level) a family was trapped on top of a car, when the rescuers arrived the oldest boy said please take my younger brother first.   7. We are on the Gold Coast - We are not affected by the flooding as our property is up high BUT IT IS STILL RAINING and as I sit here it is raining so hard we can not even hear the TV. It has been raining ALL DAY and has been raining heavily since about Christmas day with only about 2 days of Sunshine.   10. 1/2 glass of wine to celebrate the coming New Year. Tucked into bed by 10pm. Woken at 12 with fireworks and huge explosion courtesy of the next door neighbours. Ran down to the paddocks in my pyjama's to check the horses (all okay just a little rattled). Woke up this morning ready to go!! I love starting the new fresh and ready to go becuase by the end of January I am over it.

  13. Well it is 2011 1st January and my New Years Resolution is to spend more time with family and friends. CHEESE FONDUE - Perfect and having everyone over this month for one!! Good One!!

We had a great Christmas Feast - Turkey - Roast Pork - Ham - Candied Yams - Garlic Beans - Spinach Stuffed Onions (YUMMY) - Pumpkin - Baked Potatoes - Cauliflower and Broccoli Au Gratin THEN for Dessert Pavlova - Pumpkin Pie - Pecan Pie - Trifle - Plum Pudding. Think I put on about 5 kgs Oh well I will just have to ski hard in Japan to lose it.
