  1. Very mild temps here in Furano. snow was a little crunchy this morning but we got a light dusting around lunchtime which gave a little covering.
  2. Yep have hit the pain killers - I have adhesive capulitise of the shoulder. It was coming right, threw my arm out to grab one of my NAUGHTY horses and totally have gone back to immobility of the arm. Feeling a little better today will be able to raise my drink with my left arm .
  3. Also please remember if you do lose your luggage or have an accident MAKE SURE you get a full report signed by the consulting doctor. to come back with injuries and Xrays is not enough.

  6. NOT GOOD - Shoulder was coming along good until tonight with a major set back. Currently sitting with ice packs and heat bags on it and bombed to the eyeballs on pain killers. Have 4 days to get it right !!
  7. Okay as the Niseko Drinks 22nd people reminise and depart I feel I am obligated to carry the torch and organise something for mid February. We will be in Niseko from the 12th with all our friends arriving on the 16th. Anyone want to get together for drinks in February!! I am sure we can out do the January Crew!!

  11. UH OH just read the small print DOH!!!! Didn't ask this question. We are only covered on piste. So I have told Mr Snowhunter that NO MATTER how many bones he has broken or how much pain he is in CRAWL, DRAG, SLIDE onto the nearest groomed run before seeking help

We just picked our tickets up and the travel agent was blabbing on about how nice it was going to be going business class and I was Okay enough already my travel insurance does it cover snowboarding and skiing accidents, are we covered if someone else hits us. What do we have to do if we have an accident and need to claim back? I think she thought I was a totally looney - I just said My Friends on Snowjapan Forums have told me to ask ALL the important questions! yep she has labelled my a totally looney BUT we are totally covered!

  16. A some good news in all this bad news my friends niece and family have all been found safe. All 10 horses tragically perished. Just went to the supermarket to pick up some items for dinner NOTHING!!!!! Shelves are empty NO BREAD - NO MILK - NO Fresh Produce. It was a little scary. Was also told that 2 McDonald stores will close their doors tomorrow as they have run out of food and can't get any delivered as the bigger stores are being looked after first. If roads aren't opened tomorrow our 2 local petrol stations will also run out of fuel.
