I managed to pick up Football Manager Handheld 2014 and bloody hell it's addictive.

Take the shinkansen from Tokyo station to Nagano, then take the bus from Nagano to the bus stop at the base of Hakuba Goryu.
The trains can be booked using the ticket machines, as there is an English option available. The big JR View plazas in Tokyo tend to have someone who can understand/speak English.

I really enjoyed the two days at Happo One last season with Chriselle, especially skyline and bombing down on the snowboard. Great fun, and fantastic views.
Hakuba Goryu is fun but have always found it to be too crowded.

Also, how many iPads can be tethered to one Keitai?
My phone, the HTC J butterfly allows for 8 devices to be connected to it.

In the case of iPhone in Japan you could only do tethering from 5 onward. You also have to sign up for a plan and potentially have to pay 500-600¥ /month. Not sure about other smartphones though.
AU also charges now for tethering, but for new customers, there is a 2 year grace period where it is free. Strange one...

Apparently, Fujiya has been added to the list of companies mislabeling their products. The same company that was found to have mislabeled and used expired products in 2007. This place should be shut down for good. Won't be holding my breath for any chance though.
