My news article was about a different avalanche. It is really big news in Japan today. It is hard for me to tell whether the instructors were University Ski Instructors or Resort Instructors.

the longest course run length should indicate the units. I put in 1 thinking the units was Kilometers and then I put in 1000. It appears the units are in meters. Longest run in Hokkaido over 1000m was Pippu. Of course, I think I also required more than 9 courses and 8/9 lifts.

Dual BOA system.

A good night was had at the White Horse Hotel. The Aussie Bar-b-que was excellent and hit the spot for a gaijin not having western type food in a very, very long time. Luckily, I had a room reserved at the White Horse Hotel and was able to enjoy the full service offerings. Great place to stay. Staff is extremely friendly and accomodating. P.S. You can enjoy the Aussie Bar-b-que every Friday night at the White Horse Hotel.

Getting in on Saturday around 6am. Wish I could have been there by Friday, 6am.

I have used Nihontsu Express and Yokohama Movers. They were very efficient and careful in packing everything. They also have English speaking staffers for the orientation and a crew chief that speaks English.

I am wearing the Smith Phenom Gold Sensor Mirror. It works all through the day and even good on night riding. Only potential problem area is if you have light color eyes and it is a bright sunny day - the sun can be a little harsh.
