  8. Its great to be "in the know" and be able to stay one step ahead and hit untracked lines all day. I used to be able to do that kind of thing back home. Oh wait, we don't have pow back home.

  10. Its a simple fact, many (not all) of the resorts in Japan are very poorly laid out and run. There are some nice advantages to that though. We have killer BC that could be somewhat jeperdized (can't spell) if some of the mountains were laid out by someone who had a clue. And ticket prices here are insanely cheap, that would not continue if our resorts were run by big business. It would be a breath of fresh air if someone came to town and kicked some ass to weed out some of the 1 lift resorts. Until then I am more than content with what I get to do every season.
  11. Its amazing how poorly these mountains are marketed and even managed for that matter. I don't want to see places like Hakuba, Nozawa, or Niseko get over commercialized but it would be really refreshing to have Interwest or Vail Associates come to town and run a mountain properly.

  13. I guess FT already noticed it in another thread, I would say that is a pretty big reason it is so untracked!
  14. wakeskates have fins too. I don't know how well that would work on snow, they have no problem spinning the board on water with them. I can't imagine trying to kick flip a 13lbs. board. thats freaking heavy

Maybe about 150 to 155 cm long... There are a few different types of wakeskates now. Last summer i rode one where the deck was elevated about and i
