  1. As for your helmet I believe all are tested to the same standards (thats how it is in the states) make sure it fits well with the goggles you intend on using. Try both on at the same time and move your head all around to make sure fit and visability is good. I wouldn't sweat wearing black or worrying about fashion while your on the slopes. Have you seen some of the stuff Japanese wear?
  2. I will be up for the party, and I think unless Chodaboy fails his PHD he will be up as well. So maybe his chances are 50-50. HAHAHA
  3. What can I say, Im a natural born photographer... and all that without a single drop of rum. THAT SPOILER IS AWSOME!
  4. Snow was great all day on the north facing stuff, south faces turned to mash potatos buy 1130.

  12. Reminds me of the movie "Supersize Me" A perfectly healthy guy eats nothing but MacDonalds for like 2 months and when he goes back to the doctor they tell him he should stop because his life is in danger.
  13. but what about the lives of all the innocent fruits and vegetables. "im not killing a cow, im saving a carrot"
  14. Traded the L in for a M and it fits so much better, the goggle fit is deffinetly improved as well. Loon is ready for impact.
  15. yup thats what I would do! you try going to any of the smaller resorts closer to Tokyo your just gonna get bored after the first 2 days. It is a bit of a trek but well worth it.
  16. Instructor for your girlfriend would be great, it will also provide you with some time to explore on your own. All depends on how much dough you have to throw around. If you have 4 days, my personal recommendation would be to go to Hakuba, there are lots of places to stay withing walking distance of the lifts, and its a cool little town. If you are in Hakuba you will have the opportunity to ski 4 different resort in 4 days if you want. I would recommend going to Happo first you may find theres no need to go anywere else, in my opinion its the best resort I have been to in Japan.
