you should be able to rent from he australian companies in Niseko and pay in Aussie dollars. IT should save you about 50% due to exchnage rate. Check out inski, rhythm or Larry Adler they should have web pages with .com.au as for accomadation I have no ideas for you other than SAS Forest star. Friend stayed there and said it was good value, but what they charged him I have no idea

I leanrt to ride on hard boots, tried soft boots and hated the lake of control, so I found that you can get a foam injected liner into a snowboarding SOFT boot and I have the support like a hard boot but forgiveness like a soft boot, Best of both worlds
