That was impressive. Doesn't half drag on when they're all coming out though. Can't be helped I suppose.

Best month to be in Japan
snowboarding-sally replied to @tokyo's topic in General off-topic discussions
Last night was hot. I used to be careful with how much I used the aircon but now I just need to be comfortable. I can't concentrate or be useful at anything in the heat. -

Hi MMT - I avoided calculus and turned out ok! -
I used to live near Iiyama and so was close to Nozawa but also some really good places like Madarao and the resorts in Kijimadaira and Kita Shiga area. Don't hear much about them but there are some good places. Ryuo always seemed to have good snow when I went especially up top of the gondola. Worth a check between Nozawa and Shiga Kogen I reckon. If anyone wants to know more let me know and I'll post more!

While I like Suginohara, that long long course is pretty boring in many parts actually. Not everything that is good about the place. -
School holiday as in for the weekend (or something longer?) Surely not summer hols?!

Quote: Biofuels have forced global food prices up by 75% - far more than previously estimated - according to a confidential World Bank report obtained by the Guardian. The damning unpublished assessment is based on the most detailed analysis of the crisis so far, carried out by an internationally-respected economist at global financial body. The figure emphatically contradicts the US government's claims that plant-derived fuels contribute less than 3% to food-price rises. It will add to pressure on governments in Washington and across Europe, which have turned to plant-derived fuels to

Sound quality / speakers
snowboarding-sally replied to klingon's topic in General off-topic discussions
I have a kenwood system and I really like the sound it produces. The speakers in my car though are awful, some crappy default ones I think. -
