I don't think people can use the I'm at work excuse when they live in Japan. In North America it is legit Roo you can redeem yourself by posting STEEP POWDER SKIING pictures It's a honshu boys club But all are welcome and I have to say that as I am no longer living in Japan well seeing I'm going to Niseko, STEEP POWDER SKIING seems like an oxymoron. so redemption might be some time off. in the meanwhile all

  3. Quote: Originally posted by Bushpig: check their website. Most manuals you can download these days. yeah, no love, i've had a look. But I rang around some communications places and one guy reckons he can dig one up for me. Plus he's got some new aerials which is good, cos one of the aerials is stuffed, and a battery is dead too, so I'll need one of those.

You're right though, worse stuff has been posted. cool, I'm more interested in my new kenwood 5watt CB radios I picked up for a song on ebay, too bad they have no instructions?

  9. ahhh yes, flat, maybe as flat as carolyn murphy's stomach, mmmmmmm flat!
  10. I love it how a lot of people have been bagging Niseko, and it's got the better snow so far...
  11. I give up, I'm renaming it SACWG, steap and cheap womens gear. Bollocks.

I thought, well thats pretty cool, a free device stitched in, that might increase the chances of being found and if I want a beacon, well then I've got more protection. Then I might need a avi-lung, and well I might as well get a zorb bubble!

Save yourself for another day versus trying to get one more run. very true. two ways to go, either try to raise your fitness so you can go all day, or as the guys said, call it a day, no point pushing yourself if you aren't enjoying yourself. Also, being hydrated, and having the right food in your system makes a big difference.

Is there a sleeve for it or something? Also as I keep looking at that pack it seems the skis are only across one side rather than across the whole pack. I know youv'e had your sticks in there at least walking around the living room or something Powderoo, how's that setup work? yeah, busted, I have tried this on at home, with the skis, it's just like the pic shows, diagonal across the back (
  19. CamelBak Alpine Explorer Hydration Pack $48 Bux on now.
  20. yeah this has the "Doug Coombs" style attachment which is weird but I see now, so it's sits diagonal across the back of the pack. Thanks guys.
  21. I got one of these great packs, seeing I need to maximise my carry on lugagge (see JAL thread) and also for when I'm skiing but I have no idea how to use it seeing it didn't come with any instructions. I've tried looking on the web and on Marmots website, nothing. Can anyone help? I want to know how to attach skis, etc. TIA!
