Xbox 360 is an awesome console. Live is sweet. Definitely worth a look. It's madness that Japan is ignoring it.

I lived in Japan for a while a few years back and hope to be at least spending next winter back in Japan.

[amount of time and effort to become a good skier?]

I enjoyed every minute of my learning experience. My friend is a ski instructor and was very patient. At the end of a 2 week holiday I was a pretty decent beginner. The next season I progressed a lot with another week of lessons. All fun!
