It's alive. Last night I came back from a week or so away. There was some milk in the fridge and I forgot that a) I had been away for a week and that milk had probably already been in there for a while before I went away. I opened it up and took a gulp. It was the most disgusting thing that I have ever put into my mouth. I can still taste and smell it. I highly recommend you to not do this.

As in no rivalry or "no comparison"?

I was originally really put off skiing by the lessons I had when I was at ski camp - it was less about fun and more about sticking to uninteresting technique. One of the reasons I chose to pick up a board when I got the chance to be near snow again. I'm planning on getting some skiing in as well though next season and have best of both.

I learned skiing when I was younger but after a break for a long time took up snowboarding about 6 years ago. This might just be me starting boarding after skiing, but I'd say skiing was the more difficult to take up. i wouldn't mind getting back on some skis again next season.

I didn't have a season, mostly because of moving house, moving job and the wife having our first baby. So no complaints, but I'm real looking forward to next winter when things will hopefully be more settled.
