  1. Just got back from Niseko. Yep, six years changes a lot. Not that it's a bad thing, but there was about 1000 time as many Australlians there this time compared to last. Still had a good time though. Met lets of cool people and saw lots of uncool people. It was a lot warmer that I wanted it to be. Wasn't counting on the rain, the near zero visibility condition or a stomach virus either. The last day up (yesterday) was clear and way to warm. I was just happy that the toilet was across the hall.
  2. This is a pretty interesting topic seeing as I leave to go up there in the morning. I'm catching the 6:30 a.m. out of Haneda tomorrow with a couple of my bros. Last time I went was about six years ago, so in my eyes I'll let you know how much it's changed. All in all, I hope for good times with the bros, a much needed break from work, lots of beers and hopefully a chance for some good uncut powder.
  3. I do agree, watching it on the computer is not that appealing. So I do is convert it to a DVD format and watch it on the TV. That way I can kick back on the couch, drink beer and watch whatever it is I download.
  4. I got it yesterday. It was pretty good. Again I will be awaiting next episode. This is probably another topic but if you want to use a pretty fast and reliable downlad service check out Easynews.com . It's $9.98 US (unfortuantely not free) for 20 Gig a month and it's got everything you can think of.
  5. That will reind me to do the conversions at the airport next time I go to Thailand.
  6. I was just curious. I haven't had the chance to download it. A couple of my colleagues got me into it and now I'm at the point where, weekly I can't wait until the new episode comes out.
  7. I once too suffered from this lack of insulation problem. My house is nice and warm now. I have heated floors insulated walls and dual paned windows. It's very very nice in the winter and cool in the summer.
  8. I tend to just use the Japanese. I wonder though if it frustrates some of my friends that speak English very well. Once, I was told by a friend of a friend that "I speak English, please speak English to me". I replied to him "I speak Japanese, so please speak Japanese to me". He didn't care too much for my response though. I felt it was appropriate though because we were all together and he wasn't speaking English to anybody else that was Japanese and neither was I. I used to see a Brazilian girl that didn't speak English and chose to speak to me Japanese. When she couldn't think of what
  9. Are there any "LOST" fans out there? If so did you watch yesterdays episode?
  10. Paul is a cool guy. I met him when I was in H.B. partying with some of my bro's. He's a good surfer too so I guess you couldn't go wrong.
