[nozawa onsen fire festival]

i'll be arriving on friday staying until the monday. what's this talk of rain?

[anyone riding nozawa onsen this weekend?]

hey i'm preparing for my first trip to japan and am headed to nozawa on friday. i'm hoping there are some cool cats i can ride with as i'm flying solo and therefore unfamiliar with the terrain. also do i need to have avi gear? does anyone know how easy it might be to buy a tranceiver in tokyo or even at nozawa? perhaps also an indication of prices is helpful... thanks so much
