  1. You'd fly over to Japan to do that as well wouldn't you, Weegeoff.
  2. I was thinking at Kagura (in the rain) at the weekend some resorts seem to have a decent lift system that is well planned (and fast) while some seem to have been totally unplanned (or planned?!) to make you frustrated with silly layout and unbearably slow lifts all over the place. So I thought I'd open a new thread. Which resorts get your vote for a GOOD lift system and which get your votes for having a BAD system (for whatever reason, of course).
  3. Yes I was there too. Very heavy and miserable. Not the best of days, should have taken more notice of the reports.
  4. Quote: No2 son is a particular boy, technical, stubborn and with a hatred of orders. No1 ex-wife demands total and immediate obedience. Solution, get him diagnosed as mentally ill (as with No1 son & ADHT & ritalin & failure to mind control). He came here telling me he couldn't do stuff because he was mentally ill. This is her lesson to my child. I've disabused him of that. No1 ex wife.... there is a No2 ex wife?
  5. Didn't I just see the same post in another thread? I posted a reply to it. Not doing that twice.
  6. Go to Echigo Yuzawa station (80 mins or so on the Joetsu Shinkansen from Tokyo station), get the Iwappara bus from the station and you are there in 10 minutes. http://www.snowjapan.com/e/spotlight/iwappara-3.html Simple! Not sure if you'd say it was the best - depends what you want. Did you read the reviews and journals about the resort? Nice pics by the way!
  7. Let's challenge. We need someone to do that and report. I have a friend in Nozawa which is quite near so I might give it a try.
