Thanks sunrise, will take a look. So just going to a store and picking up some boots is a definite not recommend then? Not sure where boot fitters would be in my area. 　

I'm going to give skiing a go this winter and looking around at boots, and there's just so many of them. I'm having fun looking at them all but it is difficult as I'm not sure exactly what I should be looking for. Any tips on what I should be looking for, best models, makes etc?
