  1. As a total beginner(presumed) you cant really go past the current JR deals to shiga. There are 2 options... a) train,bus,lift ticket,bus,train X 2(ie 2 seperate days) or b)train,bus,lift ticket(2days),bus,train. need to book accom for one night. From memory costs a) 5800 per each day trip, total of 11600. 6300. There are discounts associated with these tickets for lessons and hire I believe. English speaking instructor??   3. Allo all, First time poster, long time lurker Ive booked the night bus up to takasu on the 20th of Dec. Being my first time to this hill, and not wanting to really waste too much time sightseeing, I was hoping on a few suggestions on which areas to hit straight off the lift. Ive set a pic up battleship style, so lock it in and fire away... btw, great site
