for the record snow is snow, it's just as much mine as it is yours, but I think we have all felt annoyed by the other side.....snowboarder get frustrated with moguls, skiers get frustrated with boarders....it's something we all have to deal with. But I think most of the people here have the right idea, that it's more about hangin' with your friend have a sick day weather your on two boards or one..... but....F#$%^ the music

FT-no they hung out with me for a while when there wern't 4000 people there. They are really cool and I think they are pretty good shredders. One of them goes to Whistler every year and both of them have spent a lot of time in NZ. ianbc-you lucky bastard.....maybe if you come back it will start dumping again. The snow gods are with you this year!

That is crazy. I have heard of resorts closing because of no snow, but too much snow, that is definitely a first for me. Maybe if the resorts started using avi control methods everyone might be a litte safer.

When we got word of the slide it definitely humbled us all to the reality of the dangers. It is so easy to get sucked into the goods, when you are in your zone, but you definitely have to ride with friends, and have some idea of what your getting into. I didn't know Tets personally, but from what I heard he knew his sh*t and was still caught doing routine work for one of the resorts. We can only be thankful that he is still alive and will someday be back on the slopes.

I'm at 17 days, the pass is paid off and it's only January, what a year. CB- that's just karma kicking your ass for bailing early....

sakebomb- well was thinking about going to Annupuri, Higashiyama, maybe Rotsusu, but now I am considering baggin the whole trip for the same reason you haven't crawled out of your rock ($$$$$$$$$) but minus the wife and child. Going solo is damn expensive, but haven't made up my mind.

FT-oh you doin the Evergreen thing too? I'm might just do that as I sit here and calculate the cost of Hokkaido, feelin a little dizzy right now

FT-you are correct, I am kurisu's friend, and I wished I had gone to Tateyama with you cause the next weekend was a total blizzard and I only got one and a half runs in, but there will be plenty of time for BC this spring. Tastyfish-do you know when you are going up yet, or where you're planning to stay?
