  1. They ar eboth shit....but great. Both got an aged co-star who has plenty of ones liners. now talking of one liners and shit great movies... Running Man, more classic one liners from Arnie, than in all his other movies put together.
  2. I bought a 20g ipod formt he apple web site, with a teachers discount. I got whilst still in UK, from the apple web site. It took a couple of weeks to be shipped from Asia, so you should be able to get it shipped to Japan. It cost me 195GBP, with free engraving service and I am dead chuffed with it. Only wish I had bought a cover sooner, as it is really scratched up. Looking to buy a new jacket this season, whats good out there for us petite ladies, any with i-pod pockets?
  3. Goonies is a classic! But CONAIR is a really good, shite movie! As it the Rock! You can't beat showgirls for bad acting! I am sure you boyz may somehow be able to see past the acting and admire the cinematography!
  4. Of course if a women sleeps with whomever she wants shes a tart....a man a legend! However the women in the UK are no different from anywhere else in the world. They are made up of sorts. Would you like to be judged on your nationality stereotype? What would yours be?
  5. I really liked the book, and will be watching the movie, although it is a shame that it is in English, with Chinese actresses, people ar eright to say, thats Hollywood for you. Many brits play other nationalities, as do Americans....Shindlers List is a good example of a movie with non native actors, shot in English. I found it extremely moving.....the Germans never complain about such shoddy accents. I believe Spielberg bought the rights to the movie 8/9 years ago. Is it true he handed it over to someone else to direct?
  6. Oh and Nicole, there are many hot men!!! Especially if like me, you get a kick out of a man who can ride hard! and BC bud, like no other!
  7. I did 6 months in Whistler from March. It has the full range of riding, from beginner to extreme, Trees, park, powder, awesome off piste. The village is superfun. The best thing about Whistler is that the fun goes on all year, take time to check out summer season, the mountain bike park is wicked! It also has one of the biggest skate parks in N. America. In fact there is more fun stuff on offer during the summer months, and the village is less crowded. The down-side to winter, is it is getting very busy, especially with the olympic interest. Saying that....you can always f
  8. Hey no need to fight over my honour BOYS!! Less of the guy, I'm a girl, which may help you understand my lack of question composition! I understand what you both are pointing out! I AM lazy, I cannot be arsed to think about my questioning, abswer the question in whatever way you please....best pow....best beverages....who gives a shit....just don't think too much about it! And well I would ask what genre the movie was....as I have so many favourites! I get the point! GOODFELLAS!! Its a great movie!
  9. Thanks for doing the poll, useful information for a lazy newcomer like myself. So just wondering if how the top resorts (Niseko, Nozawa)compare to other ski areas world wide. sorry for the tedious questions. Not an expert at these forum things!
  10. Thanks for putting in the time to research this for me....the lazy newcomer!!! Unfortunately I am unable to vote...not having your expertise! And not yet experiencing what Japan has to offer.
  11. So my mates in England wanna know what the best resort in Japan is. Seeing as I have not had the chance to ride yet, I thought someone out there may be more knowledgable... I am actually pretty curious myself.
  12. I have been living in Sendai for three months now, and am counting the days before the resorts open. Whats good? I have three weeks off at christmas and hope to check out some of the powder, I have heard so much about. keen to know anything useful or amusing about riding in Japan. Although I am a chick, I can hold my own, on the hill. Have done seasons in French Alps, n Whistler BC, and hung out riding in Europe n NZ too. How does Japan compare? Anyone out there near sendai? Finding it hard to meet people outside of work, keen to meet fellow boarders, to hang out
