I saw Rod Steward, Sailing. Great song. -
Very relaxed where I work. I only have to put a suit on quite rarely.

Fingers crossed. Hasn't seemed as hot as usual to me lately as well. Still hot enough though. -

I want to find some snow monsters next season and get their cheeky features on my camera. One of the top priorities. -

Quote: Thats why I re-posted ... over 12 hours after the original post was deleted by SJ, and after I pointed out your put-down in the photography thread. I see. (Though I suppose you have special rights to insult and be sarcastic when you see fit, as a 'long standing member', right?) Anyway I'm really not one for confrontation or nastiness, never thought I'd be caught up in something like this! I'm not going to get any more involved in any of this at all. -
Quote: I'm really disappointed that people didn't stick up for a long standing member. A member that has bought people cameras and etc plus. actually offered to buy people stuff at cheaper prices. Then doesn't get defended for just asking to use goggle. BP Thurs etc and the likes I am disappointed, you could've and shouldve done better. Miller you owe an I'm sorry for being an prick I'm not one to usually pick an argument (and if you look back over the thread you will see that apart from that one instance when I was being repeatedly ridiculed for not using google -or "goggle", if

Well I haven't been since I got my new camera, so I am going to wait until I can go armed with the beast. I certainly will post when I have them! -
OK I know we have a photography thread, but I want to talk about good mountains to shoot. I'm really into mountain scenery - both in winter and out of winter, and wondering what your favorites are? I really love Myoko and that area. That is a really good looking mountain. Another good place that I really like up in Shiga Kogen there are some really good shapes going on up there. Can't wait to get out there with the camera.

Morning yes looks like it will be another nice day, but I'm going to be sorting photos!

I wrote to Nikon support in the States about my little issue and they came back with: "No this is not a defect it's normal. It provides power for that specifc focus site to illuminate and indicate focus." There we go. I looked at Canons and Sonys when I was out to buy, but decided that the Nikons were the way to go.

Photos look good but I wish I had it set to FINE when I took them. I thought I had, but they were done on NORMAL. I'd have liked to have seen them at their "finest"! Just something I noticed now. When looking through the viewfinder with the camera switched ON there is a very faint vertical line going from the central bottom to the middle focus mark in the centre. It disappears when the power is off. I hadn't noticed it before but presume it is ok and normal - it doesn't show on the photos. Did I just not notice it before?
