Does it ever snow there? Bright blue skies every day!

Seems to be a pretty one-sided response then.

Doesn't look like much of a cover there. Interesting to see snow in July while we're all sweating it out over here.

I have a friend who is moving to Yamanashi soon and so hoping to visit him there - not too far from these places I think.

If you could choose, would you want a resort to be skier-only or snowboarder-only? I know it's probably correct to come out and say you don't mind and we're all the same, but if you were totally honest and if you are a skier would you prefer a place to be skiers only (and the same if you are a boarder)? For reasons of lines going down, moguls, or any other....

Recently I've been skiing more than boarding - I just enjoy the skis more. My husband is an avid skier too.

I find these all very interesting insights into things that go on at a resort, thanks. Very sorry to hear about the guy from the band passing away. I have listened to them a few times - they seemed to know every song we asked for straight away! - and I've heard them a few times now. They were (are) really good.
