  1. EBC are you going to be home Sat a.m. first thing - I need to pick up my black leather gloves from your house (left them last time you needed spanking)
  2. not seen it yet - I don't live there! I'll have a look this evening. Did you like the clobber she had on: Bonfire Jacket - 4200 yen Burton Formula bibtop Pants - 2100 yen Beat that for bargain shopping! She looks like a pro - all we got to do now is teach her how to snowboard!
  3. FT given the current state of affairs with the weather, might you be tempted to come for your quick ski in Sunday rather than Sat? It looks like Sat will be wet snow falling (hopefully), Sun clear...
  4. Woah there! Trying to say something about the size of your quiver??? Nice paunch too!
  5. I meant, the thread was deleted - i was wondering if someone took 'expose' too literally! It may have been the Richard Simmons pic though. Bedside-table-lamp is merely your name
  6. bedsidetablelamp. Did some actually expose themselves on your thread? Would you take that as a compliment?
  7. The Guardian newspaper online has Over-by-Over written reporting. Quite amusing for a whole test match. I am so glad I didn't post anything after the first 2 days. Amazing defeat snatching ability from England. I expect they'll play ok after it's 3-0 down and the series is over. Or maybe not. Pants.
  8. Helmets are a personal choice. You cannot ask other people on a forum whether or not wear one, or be persuaded by other people to change this, so I will not write whether I use one or not, or whether I think others should use one or not. Your safety is your safety. Discussing which helmets fit well / are good or bad, on the other hand, is perfect for an internet forum. It is said that RED helmets are made for big round American heads, and so often feel like a big bowling ball, whereas GIROs and Protecs sit around your head a bit more. But it all depends on your own head sha
  9. quiver means quiver. So no jackets. Besides, this is self-indulgent gear nerd behaviour for people who go on the internet instead of skiing. I'll post tomorrow then.
  10. Quote: Originally posted by Kumapix: ok, I'm def not coming up on sat. Sunday is still a possible but not for rain Yeah, that's my feelings too... But might come up Sat and watch FT paint...
  11. Quote: Originally posted by Bushpig: AK, you around over new years? I might be interested in a booter session with ya. Yes. Sure. Is this rain and warm weather in Hakuba too, Hakuba people????????
  12. Quote: Originally posted by Creek Boy: Quote: Originally posted by dizzy: you can always tell when season is about to get going 'cause FT and EBC start arguing more and more thats cuz neither of them are getting any Ha ha ha. Especially true if FT goes skiing instead of painting again! Obviously true for EBC
  13. and after you wake up, what are thinking about the snow in hakuba? You gonna be up this w/e? You got your 47/goryu pass already right?
  14. Back on topic - i'm interested to see how much of the rain predictd for tomorrow and saturday will be rain, and how much snow.... How's the temp / humidity feeling today in Hakuba? What do your bones tell you? (i predict wet snow down to half way down the bottom half runs, and cold sleety rain in the town)

If I was a ghetto park rat only, then yes, points pass and build or hike the park. But I also want to take that fs to BC runs and ride lines too. Building booters isn't everyday riding for me, but it is an important part - and a good way to learn larger rotations and have fun with just your mates on a jump. Ideal day wou
  16. At what point does it start is maybe a better question right now.... FT getting lots of pow on Monday after work doesn't count... cos he's short. And i'm not jealous, ok.
  17. Toque 2 short lifts, lots of terrain, lots of snow and not many people. Sounds perfect to me. Kuma Are you coming to hakuba this weekend? If you are...... pleeeeaaaaaaaase can you bring car danshi 2!??? I have the Burton promo - good for a free one, eh? Expensive photography from the big B for free is a good combination - Terje's ridiculous ice cliff with patch of snow on line is good! And the US open stuff too. I think i have watched the 'making of Futureproof' extra more than More itself.

  20. db - what's a "sam splint" dizzy - what are the differences in CPR technique between Japan and USA that you have encountered? This thread has reminded me that my winter first aid pack needs checking and restocking, as I dip into it from time to time in the summer. It doesn't have any medicine in it tho, like Dizzy's, just stuff to clean and dress a wound, plasters, tape and triangular bandage/elastic bandage. And medical scissors (rounded tips). And my opinel. Oh, and probably my whistle, compass and headtorch at the moment too, I haven't seen them for a while... must be in
  21. How small. Best i've heard have been Sony ones, I used as my home stereo until recently - about the size of a can of beer each, plus a power adapter plug thing - a bit too big for commuting/regluar travelling, but good for home / long holidays. For smaller truly portable ones, the bose one like a ring donut sounded good in my friends house back home, plus it can come on as an alarm clock.

That's entirely their own fault for eating almost nothing and drinking even less. What's their excuse? Being rubbish at eating?
